ERP/SAP Director | 3 month initial contract (rolling) | £1,500 per day
My client are a market-leading financial advisory and global consulting firm and have a large SAP program deployment with their client in 57 countries with 35.000 users with multiple Go-lives (the last one in Jan 2024)
There are around 1.000 people directly working on the program of whom, 650 are from an implementation partner. There are an additional ~3’000 people mobilized for the program as SME’s from the business in the 57 countries.
The client’s program lead who is in the board of the client reports directly to the CEO.
The newly to-be-recruited team member will closely and jointly work with the Product team leads (Client and implementation partner) to:
- Define / fine-tune the current Product teamorganization and the collaboration model between:
- The Product team and deployment teams per geographical area
- The product team and build factory
- The product team and other global workstreams (Testing, Training and change management, Data migration, Cutover and Technology)
- Define the scope of “local” versus “global” design & build and the corresponding rules, policies and control mechanism to separate local versus global design & build
- Define RACI’s and the roles and scope of Product team for Retrofit, Cutover, Data validation, Post go live support
- Implement best practices in terms of Program documentation, Coding quality control, solution release management and testing, Change management, scope management and Integration topics
- Fine tune design tools for application life cycle management (ADO / Solman)
- Assess resource requirements and availability (at factory / build level)
- Implement the right dashboard and KPI’s for the design and build activities
The person will have the following background experience and skills:
- Large business transformation program management experience and skills
- Multiple ERP (must include SAP) implementation full cycle (Design, deployment, go-live) project experiences
- Deep ERP (SAP must) design and configuration experience in one or multiple functional modules
- Functional understanding of the SAP Release management and functional requirement development and delivery
- Hands-on execution and operational experience with direct reporting to board or executive committees
- At least 10-15 years of work experience incl. consulting experience
Soft skills:
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
- Excellent presentation skills (written and oral)
- Excellent executive presence and stakeholder management
- Fluent English is a must
