IT Digital Business Partner

IT Digital Business Partner | 6 Month Contract | Hybrid Working (London) | Inside IR35 | Local Government | Day Rate Depending on Experience

A key Local Gov. client of mine is looking to hire an IT Digital Business Partner on a contract basis.

Purpose of the IT Digital Business Partner role:

* The purpose of this role is to develop strong and influential senior relationships with service
teams, partners, and directorates; to influence and drive the delivery of new and innovative
services and technology; to ensure the Council’s digital strategy and programme benefits are
optimised; to join up digital initiatives leveraging technology and value for money.

* Working alongside a network of partnerships, existing and new, the post holder will build on
the organisation’s digital platforms and capabilities and collaboratively seek to implement new
ones. Supporting the Council’s digital board and working extensively with services across the
authority the post holder will ensure that the implementation and use of technology enables
the organisation’s strategic outcomes and delivers meaningful change and impact for the
communities within the organisation

* The postholder will seek to evolve and develop the organisation’s Digital Strategy, create a digitally
enabled council fit for the future whilst ensuring residents, businesses, partners, and
Council staff thrive in the digital era and ensure digital access for all.

Key Accountabilities:

* The role will provide leadership in defining and shaping successful digital transformation
projects and will require cross-organisation collaboration with the Council at all levels and with
its partners, aligning technology and digital delivery with organisational outcomes and
priorities
* You will be adept at delivering digital projects and programmes. You will have excellent
communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to present design
concepts clearly and persuasively to colleagues, partners, and especially to other senior
stakeholders
* You will ensure the Council’s Digital Strategy aligns to business priorities and is managed as a
co-ordinated programme of activity, working with a range of delivery partners, always ensuring
best value for money. Ensuring improved access to services through a resident-centred
approach, enabled by better use of technology whilst achieving greater digital maturity
