About the Role

We’re proud to be partnered with one of the most exciting FinTechs in the country.

This client is focused on financial tracking products for families, that not only provide families with a more efficient way to track spending, but also aims to help children learn how to budget properly and achieve fiscal responsibility. They’ve received over $66.2m in funding (and during the pandemic!) to scale their teams and fuel their US expansion.

Due to the expansion and growth of their technology teams, they are now looking for a Senior Software Architect to partner closely with the CTO, Head of Engineering and the Product teams to develop a long-term technology roadmap and help deliver this. This is a crucial role within the business, with a direct line to the most senior stakeholders and an aim to figure out the future of operational processes and systems.

This is an Enterprise level Architecture role so does NOT require you to be hands-on. For your information though, please see their technology stack below:

Tech stack: GCP | Java | Springboot | Kafka | Microservices | Docker | Kubernetes

What You’ll Be Doing?

• Designing operational processes and systems
• Lead and work with product owners & BAs to ensure optimal design
• Create documentation on models and processes
• Designing interactions between systems

You Will Need

• Strong proven experience in software architecture
• Strong understanding of microservice architectures, preferably in GCP
• Experience in prepaid card, payment systems or retail banking
• FinTech experience
• Strong stakeholder experience
