£85 000 per annum

Main responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting incidents for multiple clients on multiple environments
• Providing pro-active 3rd line technical support & minor code/configuration fixes
• Implementation support
• Release management
• Provide 24*7*365 3rd line production technical support as part of an on-call/shift rota
• Stakeholder management
• Creation of new and updating existing support documentation, both internal and client facing
• Providing training for client’s 1st and 2nd line support teams.

Skills/Experience:

• Experienced with DevOps tools and processes, specifically Linux, Jenkins, Maven and Git
• Must be able to work individually or within a team to ensure that defined SLA’s are met
• Positive and ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent communicator, active listener, and natural collaborator
• Ability to stay focused whilst under pressure
• Strong customer service ethos
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with a track record in supporting complex applications within high availability/high volume environments

Desirable Skills/ Experience:

• DevOps engineer experience – MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker and AWS
• Solid Java development
• Knowledge of BDD techniques
• Experience in a testing role
• Experience with real-time messaging systems
• Experience with message driven systems (e.g. IBM MQ Clustering)
• Experience within Payments processing systems or Finance/Banking industry
• JIRA / Confluence experience
