Description

You will be part of a young development team accountable for the Voice, Packet and Messaging services. For that scope, you will develop new services and components required to orchestrate core services into Products, which can be provided to customers. You will be a part of the complete process from design to in-life management.

Position Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain systems and services critical to our operations
• Implement resilient, scalable, secure and fault tolerant architectures
• Maintain high standards of observability and monitoring
• Ensure compliance of deployed solutions with 3GPP standards
• Assist the roadmap management with quality estimates promoting an effective management of expectations
• Accountable for the outcomes of his work, and for the effectively working end to end flows
• Strong contributor to roadmap implementation allowing a continuing and fast evolution of the solution. Be able to deliver small incremental features often
• Collaborate with other team members and contribute to a common code repository
• Promote seamless integration of the new features into the existing codebase
• Promote code quality, readability and high tests coverage
• Promote overall quality of the solution and ensure high performance
• Document the solution and flows

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and experience in Golang (preferred) or Java – A technical assessment will be required
• Experience using databases, understanding the tradeoffs of ACID and NoSQL
• Experience in the development of C/C++ applications is a plus
• Experience with messaging and event-based architectures
• Experience with CI/CD flows, Git, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Linux systems
• Proficient with REST APIs, both in implementing the interfaces and consuming
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and guidelines and scripting languages for automation
• Familiar with cloud and container environments
• Familiar with collaborative development tools and processes
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions

Additional Experience

• Experience with performance and optimisation problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
• Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
