Front-End Developer

Vue.JS contract- London- £500.00 per day

Our client have built an eCommerce platform allowing their customers to reduce their costs for a number of products and services. They are now looking to innovate and further revolutionize the industry heavily investing within digital to offer a world class customer experience and offer their customers better transparency enabling them to save money.

This is to work on a greenfield project building new digital services and applications creating a new full end-to-end online journeys that enable you to use their services more efficiently and consumer friendly.

You will have the opportunity to work within a cross-functional team, all with UX, PM, Research, QA, BA and development roles.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Vue.JS / React.JS
• Strong knowledge of Vuex / Redux
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 / SASS
• Strong knowledge ES6 JavaScript
• Experience with Unit / E2E testing tools (Jest, Nightwatch)
• Good knowledge of Git
• Some familiarity with Node.js and AWS Lamba

Responsibilities

• Development of our core products using Vue.JS
• Assisting with front-end requirements on our Ruby on Rails products
• Writing unit and e2e tests for your code
• Translating design docs into accurate HTML / CSS
• Working with the design team to build and maintain a consistent library of components and styles
• Working alongside QA to ensure builds display and function correctly across a range of browsers and devices
