Front End Developer

Front End Contract- Greenfield project- Birmingham

Our client is an incubated start-up which is a new on demand service where they will be building new products and services from scratch to the market which is the uber for tradesmen connecting them to their customers. They are looking for an exceptional contract front end developer to work in a lean agile start-up environment.

• A hands-on development role encompassing web-based technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript ES5/ES6, JQuery, Bootstrap).

• You will be responsible for the front-end development and support of existing and future web solutions

• You will be working closely in an agile environment with project owners, UX designers and software development teams to understand business and technical requirements for the bigger picture; translating requirements into responsive interfaces compatible across all browsers, devices and screen sizes.

• Writing robust and scalable code on a day-to-day basis; HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JavaScript and Bootstrap.

• Developing interfaces that are cross-browser, cross-platform and cross-device compatible

• Taking ownership of tasks and drive them through to completion

• Effectively communicating with business and technical team members to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to issues

• Continuously adapting to new technologies and participating in design reviews and code reviews.

Nice to have :

• Angular.JS or React.JS experience
• Consumer facing website builds which are high traffic
• Photoshop/ Design skills
