Front End Engineer

We are partnered with an agriculture business whose mission is to transform global cattle and sheep farming with software and solutions that deliver improved sustainability, profitability and provenance across the supply chain. They are the market leader in farm management software and are rapidly expanding across the globe in multiple markets, including the UK, United States, Brazil, South Africa and New Zealand.

Due to growth, we are looking for our next experienced and motivated Software Engineer to join our UK based team (FULLY REMOTE), to help us achieve our vision of delivering the digital future of agriculture.

Everything is written with TypeScript and our choice of Angular and Ionic means we can easily share code between our web and mobile apps as well as our microservice backend. We practice one-week sprints, continuous delivery, peer reviews, unit testing and OKRs and are continually looking for ways to improve how we work.

Responsibilities include:

* Own and improve the reputation for product excellence, user experience and quality, taking a customer first approach

* Implementation of creative and innovative solutions that solve problems in a performant and scalable way that are both intuitive and powerful

* Delivery of flexible solutions for an international customer base with unique management and regulatory work practices

* Application of Typescript, Angular, and Ionic to create reusable components shared on mobile and web

To be successful in the role you will need:

* BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

* A strong logical and analytical mind with the desire to learn and implement new skills

* Demonstrable full-stack development skills

* Demonstrable experience with Angular, Node.JS and TypeScript

* Experience building of cross-platform mobile apps in Ionic desirable

* A passion for software engineering and exploring the latest technologies

* To be a genuine team player with exceptional communication skills
