Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer | Contract 6 months | (Hybrid working, 1-3 days per week onsite in MK or London) (Utility background preferred)

My client is looking for a Senior Developer/Tech lead, with good assurance and design experience, to join their team. Unlike most delivery roles, it will be more of a consultative role. So, it’s not about creating, building, submitting and passing work products, docs, artifacts, collateral, and deliverables. It’s more support, advice, assurance…

The role are is full stack, with both front end and backend development experience (eg. f/e, b/e, DB, Dev Ops etc.). This front-end development to backend development knowledge can include hands-on experience over DevOps and Designing tools.

The value in the work the work of a full stack developer is not just limited to the development – in fact, the value my client want is solid assurance. Applicant should come with knowledge of deploying, optimising, and automating applications

Tech includes: HTML/CSS, JavaScript. Server side programming languages can be C# ( ASP.NET), PHP, Java (with Servlet or Spring), Python (Django). Database: SQL, REST and HTTP

This will give my client advantages like:

*Technologies are not the important bit for this role, the focus is on assurance, this candidate needs to be familiar with coding trunks & branches and have experience reviewing / understanding estimates.. The candidate needs to be a detailed person. They should know what a good story should look like & be able to assess if would be able to be handed off to other people who would then be able to run with it. Needs to be confident working across other suppliers & be able to challenge.

Candidates need to be able to come into the office 1-3 days a week either in Milton Keynes or London, A utilities background is preferred.
