Full Stack Developer (NodeJS, Postgres, ReactJS) – Digital – Brussels

Day rate: €450 – €600 per day

Contract: Freelance

The client is looking to grow and their Digital team and they now have a requirement for a Full Stack Developer who has experience developing primarily web based applications

Key current tasks (which may change over time according to the needs) include:

• Leading web and collaboration domain;
• Technical lead for public website and multiple mini websites;
• Administrating Linux server and DevOps for several web applications running on docker;
• Administrating Gitlab Server;
• Performing business/functional analysis and support to project manager and vendors to build, develop or improve systems;
• Operational Support for SharePoint 2013 users;
• Managing Azure subscriptions;
• Supporting Energy Monitoring system applications for the office premises;
• Preparing strategy for technological evolution of web and collaboration applications.

Profile: Full Stack Developer (NodeJS, Postgres, ReactJS) – Digital – Brussels

• University degree in a Technology-related university with a strong IT affinity
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• At least 5 years’ experience with:
• developing primarily web-based applications
• Familiarity with common stacks (NodeJS + Postgres + ReactJS + Redux)
• Knowledge and experience of front-end frameworks and the JAMStack (e.g. React, Gatsby, Jekyll)
• Ideally, familiarity with CSS pre-processors, bundlers, and associated languages/syntaxes/libraries
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. NodeJS, Python)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Nginx) and UI/UX design
• Server management and deployment for the relevant environment (e.g. Linux servers running docker containers)
• Proficiency with Git, using both Gitlab and Github
• Bonus points for experience with
• Netlify Hosting
• React Native
• Azure – Portal management
• Data visualization
• Automated testing
• SharePoint 2013 administration
• Passion for delivering great user experiences
• Business fluent in English mandatory (oral and written).
• A desire and an ability to learn new technologies
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Team player, accountability and flexibility.
