Full Stack Engineer

Our client are a London based start-up bound to revolutionize property viewings. Created in 2019, the company are looking to build their team. The idea behind it is to provide individuals with a way to perform viewings on their own for unoccupied properties, at a convenient time slot booked through our app.

Your mission would be to build a web dashboard linking the existing REST API to the mobile apps, to replace or enhance the current framework built using Bubble No-Code. Working within a small structure, the ideal candidate will be able to provide guidance on best practices and experience of do’s and don’ts in order to drive the company forward and generate more revenue. Also, working alongside the CTO to implement new ideas/frameworks across multiple platforms (Web/Android/iOS) and to pitch in to the overall strategy the company is taking.

What you can expect as a Front End Engineer:

• Understand requirements and translate into quality technology solutions
• Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders
• Take ownership of technology deliveries from high level requirement through development, testing and deployment
• Provide on-going support as required e.g. authoring / reviewing test cases, closing out open issues / question
• Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps and communicate these in a timely manner
• Take part in a a completely greenfield project

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years experience as a software engineer
• A solid understanding of JavaScript – HTML5, CSS, LESS and ideally PHP on the backend
• Knowledge of Python, Java, SQL or Bubble would be beneficial but not mandatory

• Excellent communication skills – ability to summarize issues and present for non-tech stakeholders

• Good track record with a portfolio of projects led to completion

• An interest in growing your skillset and sharing your knowledge with others

• Collaborating with others on a shared code base and conducting peer code reviews
