Hadoop / Big Data Administrator – London- Contract – £500-600.00 per day

Hadoop / Big Data Administrator- our client is one of the leaders in the AI space revolutionising health care, you will be a part of one the leaders in artificial intelligence building and releasing great AI powered products, focusing on data / machine learning to work on the architecture of complex data architectures at extremely high scale, in real world environments and problem spaces. You will have the opportunity to work in an environment delivering large scale globally to solve the worlds health care problems launching in multiple countries this year.

The role:

Low level integration and cluster management

Configuration tasks to help tidy up their current cluster

Linux and general admin

Supporting a cross functional team working with data and data insight solutions

Communicating with a number of key stakeholders across the business

Bringing data from a wide variety of data sources and performing data modelling to streamline data

Requirements:

Hadoop

Hadoop Cluster

Low level integration

Hortonworks

Security e.g. SSL, SSSD, Active Directory,

Kerberos

Installation & upgrade experience

Experience working in a lean fast paced agile environment

Good experience with SQL, relational databases, NoSQL, column store and schema design

Knowledge of big data platform tools such as Hive, Kafka, Ambari, Spark
