Global leading Client is currently recruiting for an Infrastructure hardware Engineer who has hands on experience working with Windows desktop support. Based in Sunbury, 6 month rolling contract paying up £300 per day.

Experience and skills needed for an Infrastructure hardware Engineer who has hands on experience working with Windows desktop support.

• Windows 10 Enterprise
• Familiar with Systems Management Tools
• Physically fit to manage the hardware movements within the test lab, build rooms and warehouse
• Responsibilities include:
• Maintain test and warehouse location
• Maintain spare stock levels
• Configure and arrange hardware replacements
• Maintain test environment’s
• Rollout hardware
• Manual software deployments
• Yearly hardware & disaster recovery media fleet audit.
• Asset management recording and reporting.
• Secure disposal
• Manage stock at supplier warehouse and freight forwarders
• Create and maintain documentation to support the successful operations.
• 3rd Party HW/SW testing
• 2nd/3rd Line Support
• Proactive software agent fixing
