Integration Architect

Greater London Contract / 6 month rolling £800 - £900 per day

Responsible for:

  • Acting as both the Product and Technical owner for the integration layer that feeds the data from the banks into the ESB that integrates with all the real time and near-real-time applications
  • Manage through others by leading the scrum team responsible for development
  • Liaising with banks to manage requirements, expectations, and key relationships
  • Implementing continuous improvement, triaging development options to focus on the balance between urgent and/or high value development items

Designing, implementing, and managing:

  • Specific client facing integration points for API, MQ, SWIFT MT/MX and SFTP
  • Data streaming pipeline with real time processing
  • Integration with internal ESB, optimising for near-real-time processing of data within the internal applications

Required experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ of designing & managing implementation for real-time applications, specifically with experience managing stakeholder in client IT departments
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in AWS, specifically building data integration for streaming applications
  • Experience with AWS managed services (e.g. API Gateway, SNS, SQ, Glue, Kinesis, lambda)
  • Scripting with Python
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
  • Experience in Infrastructure as code (i.e. Terraforming)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (i.e. Cloudwatch)
  • Experience with container technology (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes)
