Java Developer

A Global leading company is currently recruiting for a Java Developer that is based in Poland and has experience with Java, TDD, Kafka, Spark, Git and Unix. Based in Poland, Warsaw and paying up to 600 Euro’s per day.

Essential skills and experience for the Java Developer, Java, Kafka, Spark, Scala, Unix, Git

• Experience developing on Unix/Linux and Windows
• Strong Java programming skills
• Experience with version control tool, preferably Git
• Solid understanding of TDD (Test Driven Development)
• Comfort using either Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Strong grasp of algorithms & data structures
• Familiarity with multithreading and distributed processing concepts (Java, Scala, Clojure)
• Familiarity with issue tracking and code review tools
• Hands on experience using continuous integration services like Jenkins or TeamCity a plus
• Big data high throughput calculations systems in distributed environment
• Functional programming
• Apache Kafka
• Apache Spark
• Unix
• Git/IntelliJ IDEA
• Docker/k8s/OpenShift (nice to have)
