Java Developer

Global leading Client is currently recruiting for a Java Developer who has hands on experience with Linus, Unix and Windows operating systems. Based in Warsaw Poland, 6 Month rolling contract paying up 500 Euros per day.

Experience and skills needed for a Java Developer who has hands on experience with Linus, Unix and Windows operating systems.

• Experience developing on Unix/Linux and Windows
• Strong Java programming skills
• Experience with version control tool, preferably Git * Solid understanding of TDD (Test Driven Development) Comfort using either Eclipse or IntelliJ
• Strong grasp of algorithms & data structures * Familiarity with multithreading and distributed processing concepts (Java, Scala, Clojure)
• Familiarity with issue tracking and code review tools
• Hands on experience using continuous integration services like Jenkins or TeamCity a plus
• Big data high throughput calculations systems in a distributed environment
• Functional programming
• Apache Kafka
• Apache Spark
• Unix * Git/IntelliJ IDEA
• Docker/k8s/OpenShift (nice to have)
