Position: Senior Java Developer

Location: Bristol – Hybrid working, once a week, in the office.

Salary: £65,000 + Bonus

My Client is seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join their growing tech team in Bristol. The successful candidate will have extensive Java development experience and be responsible for leading and mentoring junior developers, as well as developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor junior developers
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Continuously improve software development processes and practices
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java technology

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong experience in Java development (5+ years)
• Experience leading and mentoring junior developers
• Proficient in object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
