Java Engineer – High Street Bank – Incredible 2023 plans

This is why I’m incredibly excited to be recruiting on behalf of one of the top high street banks in the UK as they embark on a huge recruitment campaign across the UK to hire Java Engineers in 2023 to work on a broad range of innovative greenfield projects in both commercial and retail banking.

One of the most successful financial services in Britain over the past century, they are a business who continue to innovate and demonstrate a progressive attitude in everything they do.

As a Java Engineer you will be working across a modern stack including: Java, Springboot, Kafka, AWS/GCP, MongoDB, Vertx, Kubernetes and many other technologies – they are looking for proven experience in Java and Spring primarily and a hunger to learn!

For these Java Engineer positions they are paying between £70,000 to £90,000 + outstanding benefits like 10% pension (non contributory), bonuses, 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays), 12 months parental leave and many more.

They have a very flexible working environment – a number of people work remotely or even work compressed hours – so if you have the right skills they should be able to accommodate your needs, as long as you’re based in the UK!
