As a Java Engineer, you’ll be joining a development team of 40 – your unit will be working on their DigiTech mobile application that works across their Retail brands as well as several other key digital channels.

The apps & infrastructure here experience daily volumes exceeding 10M logins per day – this is a critical customer facing application, so the impact you have here is real.

You will be working on services developed in Java as microservices and loosely functionally aligned, deployed on AWS infrastructure. Therefore, experience in these areas will be essential.

Bonus points to Java Engineers with knowledge in other areas of their codebase including Spring, RxJava, Vertx, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Cucumber, REST, Cloud Security – but these aren’t essential.

They are paying from £60,000 to £108,800 depending on the level of your experience, +industry leading benefits like 10% bonus, 10% pension and 30 days holiday.

They are based in London and would like to see you 1-2 days per week in the office.
