Java Software Developer – Fintech – Up to £55,000 + bonus + great benefits!

Role: Software Java Developer

Client: Financial Data Management firm

Salary/package: Up to £55,000 + bonus

Employment: Permanent

Location/WFH policy: City of London, Hybrid working

We are partnered with an exciting Fintech firm who are looking for a talented Java Software Engineer to join their flagship development team!

Having been established a number of years ago and funded by a large private equity fund, our client has grown into leading Financial Data Management company. They aggregate and normalise data and sell the data to large financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high level maintainable systems, being involved in the entire software development cycle
• Collaborate in a cross-functional environment, working close-knit with the development team to implement new features plus brainstorm new ideas!
• Be apart of the journey of joining a successful fintech and grow within the team as the business continues to thrive

Techstack

Java, Spring, Postgres, AWS, Jenkins, JavaScript, React/Redux, Restful APIs, TDD,

Required skills/experience

• 1+ Years experience working with Java
• Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and Spring
• Database either relational or NoSQL, DynamoDB would be advantageous
• Any Cloud experience would be a bonus!
