Java Software Engineer

Europe Permanent £40000.00 - £70000.00 per annum

Java Software Engineer | Global Hedge Fund | Exeter

Role: Java Software Engineer (Graduates to mid-level)

Salary: Depending on exp. circa £40,000 – £70,000 + healthy bonus

Location: Exeter, hybrid policy

I am partnered with a growing Hedge Fund who are seeking a Java Software Engineer to join their highly successful trading team in the South West. Just to make this clear, no financial services exp. is needed!

You will be joining a team of ex-Comp Sci alumni’s from some of the UKs and US top universities, as you can expect the learning opportunity is huge! You will get direct exposure to some of the most advanced financial markets and trading platforms at this current time.

This role provides a real opportunity to work on time-critical and complex problems whilst avoiding all the red tapes you tend to see in this field (no hierarchy, take full ownership of your code, work in a closeknit top performing team).

Techstack: Java 8+, AWS, Docker, PostgresSQL, DynamoDB, Linux, Python

If the role is of interest, click apply or email me with your updated CV and I’ll give you a call ASAP to discuss further.
