Javascript Developer- London/Remote- £500.00 per day.

The role:

Our client is looking for contract Node.js and React.js software engineers to work for one of UKs fastest growing consultancies delivering projects with fast scaling start-ups through to global brands. You will get to work with some of the best software engineers in the industry deploying cutting edge technologies and the best software engineering practices. You will get to work in an environment using BDD, CI, TDD, QA, JS, Docker, Node, Tape, React.js, Node.JS, Rxjs, Ansible, SCSS, Webpack, Babel and more. This is an opportunity to work on a large scale enterprise agile digital transformation on a re-platforming project implementing modern JS stack, services and architecture.

Skills:

• You have expert level JavaScript skills.
• You are familiar with some of their front end tech stack (ReactJS, NodeJS etc)
• You’ve built high quality web interfaces using modern technologies and practices.
• You know good UX and visual design when you see it.
• You’ve been part of a high-performing, autonomous Agile development team and you get kick out of shipping.
• You like learning new skills and taking on tasks beyond your usual remit
• Experience designing real-world REST APIs and microservices
• Direct commercial experience with AWS services
• Experience from at least one web or mobile service with high traffic
• Devops automation and containerisation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Mesos, CoreOS
