Lead Shopify Developer

We have partnered with an established environmentally and ethically focused eCommerce fashion business that has recently been valued at £100million! They are looking to bring their Website Development in-house, due to their continued growth and success, they are creating a Product Pod to drive the business forward.

They are seeking a Lead Shopify Developer to build the team, the role requires a professional with strong Shopify and JavaScript experience, (React is a bonus). You will own the web road-map working with internal and external partners to develop innovative product solutions that move the digital experience forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the growth of digital technologies, technology practices and team
• Pitch new technologies
• Ensure delivery on time, on budget and to scope
• 60% hands on coding
• 40% working with product owners, code reviews and team building
• Manage working external partner engineering teams.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Experience in architecting and implementing solutions
• Experience developing customer-facing cloud-based eCommerce platforms
• Skilled at communicating with non-technical partners
• Experience working with third-party APIs
• Experience in optimising web performance and developing for accessibility and SEO
