.NET software engineer

.NET/ React- Contract- Remote- £350-400.00 per day

Our client are a healthcare scale-up who have recently raised series A and transforming the way that healthcare is delivered by enabling healthcare systems to provide patients with the best healthcare experience. You will be focused on delivering the best customer experience across apps, websites, content, chatbots, etc

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with the Lead Engineer to realise product and technical design vision
• Working with Lead engineer to design, inform and lead our performance and re-engineering efforts.
• Optimising our current technology stack to improve performance and maintainability to support new clients
• Running experiments and proof-of-concepts to evaluate possible performance and scalability improvements
• Developing our monitoring and testing suites to help us detect and mitigate platform issues
• Mentoring and coaching other members of the team

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• 5+ years professional experience working as a Full Stack Developer/Engineer
• A strong understanding and working experience of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core and web-based development
• A proven record in developing scalable, highly available and highly performing middle-tier components
• Experience in developing HTTP-based APIs and implementation of RESTful services with JSON
• Strong technical background in web development with HTML5, OO JavaScript, CSS2/3
• Practical understanding of UI design patterns such as MVC and MVVM JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, ReactJS, etc.)
• Experience with communications technologies (Web API, Google Protocol Buffers) and message queues (eg RabbitMQ)
• Experience of developing and maintaining Cloud-Based solutions on Microsoft Azure Cloud platform
• Experience to working in a highly agile cross functional development team
