We have partnered with an innovative medical start-up that is tackling some of the most challenging outbreaks of the 21st Century! This ground breaking organisation has a global reach, providing universal surveillance strategies at scale for microbial pathogens, facilitating rapid analysis and enabling the training of experts worldwide. Their key focus is on pathogen dynamics, working with public health agencies such as the US CDC, the European CDC, Public Health England and the WHO.

Their tools have been used throughout the Ebola outbreak and the on going Covid outbreak. Due to the success of these tools they are seeking to expand their Development Team so that they can widen the support they offer the world!

This is an exciting time to join as they launch new tools and products that will be used globally to save lives. As a Backend Node Developer you will work on practical solutions to analyse and visualise real-world datasets, creating positive UX and intuitive UI’s for web applications.

Tech Stack – Node | Next.js | JavaScript | WebGL | PostgreSQL

Digital ecosystem: AWS, CI/CD, TDD environment

Salary – up to £80k

Oxford HQ – Remote, with occasional team meet-ups
