£60000.00 – £70000.00 per annum

We have partnered with an exciting company looking to transform the travelling industry with their niche travelling platform. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to take a growing technology team with 3 cross-functional squads to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver new features and products for customers using modern backend tools (PHP, MySQL, Laravel, AWS, RESTful APIs).
• Work in cross-functional Squads collaborating directly with designers, PMs, and front-end engineers to build delightful user experiences.
• Own backend engineering projects from design to implementation to deployment and maintenance.
• Solve complex backend challenges around performance and code reusability while continuously improving code quality.
