Python Developer | 12 month Contract | Remote | *Mandatory German Speaker”

I’m currently looking at speaking to remote based, German speaking, developers who are capable of carrying out a code refactoring from R to Python for a large international energy client of mine.

As part of this role you will be building an understanding of the statistical model, optimization process and script.

Experience required:

– Transferring R code to a Python package

– Code refactoring

– Commentary and documentation

– Testing

– *Mandatory” German speaker (English is a bonus)

Necessary skills (must have):

* R

* Python, Package Development

* Software Engineering Skills

* Basic statistical knowledge (optimization procedure)

Desirable skills (nice-to-have):

* Ability to penetrate complex algorithms and processes

* Teamwork, independent work and customer orientation
