React.JS Developer

React.JS- Contract- London

This is an opportunity to work with some of the best Node/React software engineers in the industry delivering projects with fast scaling start-ups through to global brands. You will get to work in an environment deploying cutting edge technologies and the best software engineering practices. Some of the technologies you will be using are BDD, CI, TDD, QA, JS, Docker, Node, Tape, React.js, Reactnative, Typescript, Rxjs, Ansible, SCSS, Webpack, Babel and more.

Role requirements:

– Have a strong knowledge and experience of JavaScript and its ecosystem (Browser vendors, ECMAScript, NPM, popular tools and libraries).

– Strong knowledge of and experience with ReactJS with Redux (preferred), CSS3 and HTML5.

– Knowledge of and experience with ES6 using Babel/WebPack is a plus.

– Understanding and experience with WebSockets protocol is a plus.

– Understanding of performance optimization, caching, security, data and energy consumption on mobile devices.

– Comfortable and confident working with JavaScript on multiple platforms, i.e. server-side with Node.js in addition to in-browser

– Can organise all aspects of web application development, including CI builds, deployment, dependency management, versioning, documentation, project and issue management

– Strong experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

– Good verbal and written communication skills and a team player.

– Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

– Approachable and passionate. – Strong attention to detail.

– Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and tools (preferably Atlassian Jira)

– Excellent organisational skills and sense of due diligence

– Can do attitude with the willing to learn
