Ruby Developer

We are partnered with an exciting Software Development company who are looking for a Ruby Developer in their Saarland, Germany office!

Our client is a leading provider of tools required to create websites, use email & secure business online. They are a developer & operator of software platforms and provide web presence services to customers in over 250 countries.

The role:

As a Ruby Developer you will be researching, designing, and implementing software solutions and modifications to existing software.

Duties include:

• Researching, designing, implementing software solutions
• Researching, designing, implementing modifications to existing software
• Testing and evaluating software
• Writing efficient and secure code
• Supporting the wider team in reporting and automated integrations
• Developing quality assurance procedures

Ideally you will:

• Have knowledge of the domain name industry
• Be experienced with Ruby, JavaScript, modern reactive JavaScript frameworks
• Bring familiarity with HTML, CSS, SQL, Linux shell
• Be able to communicate at a high standard in English both written and verbally
• Have a preference for agile software development methodologies
• Have Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or similar qualification

Our client is offering:

• Up to 45,000 Euros
• 10% annual bonus
• Flexi working (Core hours are between 10am-3.30pm)
• 3-days working from home per week
