Scala Developer

Greater London Contract / 1 Month £450 - £500 per day

I am looking for someone to help my client implement and extend functionality in a SAAS product they have developed for a client – this is in very early stages of a tech start up

You will need to feel comfortable taking on a level of ownership and responsibility – there will be oversight and advisory support from a senior developer, but a high degree of independence will be expected.

The product itself is a curriculum database, used by students and staff at a number of universities.

The tech stack comprises: –

  • Scala
  • Scalate
  • AngularJS
  • LESS
  • Spring Boot

The next sprint of tasks are:

  • Implement multi-tenant SAML support
  • Add a recycle bin (for entity soft-delete)
  • Add CSV/PDF exports – Add support for deep-linking with virtual learning products via “Learning Tools Interoperability” standard
  • Help specify and design an assessment blueprinting function – and then implement it
  • The ideal candidate would be able to work at their office for at least 4 days a week – based in Shoreditch
