I’m recruiting for a startup who first launched in 2016, and due to their success were acquired last year by a huge corporate VC fund that invests in early stage startups – so they’re in a great position to dominate the market.

This business provides cutting edge ETF and index managed data service to trading desks, asset managers and enterprise data management groups – their data universe accounts for 95% of the market!

As a Senior Java Engineer you will be joining a development team of 8, headed by a CTO who’s architected & built products for a range of investment banks, asset managers, prime brokers and hedge funds – so he’s a great mentor to have!

You will be building enterprise grade software systems on top of the Java development stack – using Spring, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch etc), Jenkins.

It’s essential that you have strong core Java skills, AWS, familiarity with automation and understand the differences between relational & non-relational databases. Bonus points for industry experience but domain knowledge can be taught.

The salary for this Senior Java Engineer role ranges from £90,000-£110,000 + a discretionary bonus. They are based in Central London, and have a hybrid remote working policy – 2 days a week in the office.
