Role: Senior/ Hands-on Lead Full stack JavaScript Developer

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £80,000 to £100,000

This platform provides a single mechanism to develop bespoke family charters which link values, purpose, initiatives and legacy to impact. Unlike other platforms, we offer a single source for defining, driving and measuring environmental, social, and governance and sustainable development goal outcomes. The role

This role will be the senior technology hire within the organisation. The ideal candidate will come in and very quickly take charge of leading the existing team in delivering quality features at pace for an already started MVP. This is a hands-on technical role contributing to the code base in a fast-paced evolving environment. In parallel to the MVP build the candidate will be reviewing and establishing the overall solution architecture. This will cover all aspects of the tech stack from setting / agreeing details from low-level coding standards through to the overall tech product choices (such as use of GraphQL and MongoDB). Beyond the MVP, the role is open to being extended significantly as the company, product and team grow.

About you

• Have experience with React, TypeScript and GraphQL front-end
• Node and NestJS back-end with a combination of Postgres and MongoDB databases
• AWS cloud hosting – Elastic Beanstalk, S3, RDS, CloudFront, SES,
• Hands-on experience of key AWS services
• Strong all-round infrastructure and development knowledge
• Experience of building at least one greenfield application from concept to delivery
• Experience with Agile delivery approaches
• Hands-on React and TypeScript development experience
• Hands-on NestJS and Node development experience
• A good working knowledge of APIs
• A good working knowledge of performance management and tuning
• Designing and implementing data models
