Software and Integration Engineer (C++) | 6 month contract | Fully Remote | Outside IR35 | £500 per day

Description

You will be part of a young development team accountable for complementing my client’s messaging systems with MMS Services implemented over an MMS-Center. While being deprecated in most of the European countries, MMS service is still greatly used in the US market and having it in our portfolio, will allow my client to extend its product offering with a better value proposition for customers.

Requirements

Position Competencies

• Strong knowledge and experience in the development of C/C++ applications
• Proven experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of SMS, MMS and Email protocols is a big plus
• Knowledge of Perl, Shellscript, Golang is a plus
• Proficient with REST APIs, mainly for the consuming side
• Familiar with collaborative development tools and processes
• Familiar with CI/CD flows, Git, Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
