Software Engineering Manager

Salt are working closely with a customer in the UK which specialise in Unified communications. A opportunity has arisen with our client who are ambitious and keen to grow there successful team by adding a Software Engineering Manager immediately to join on a remote working basis.

Main duties will include:

As a Software Engineering Manager you will be expected to manage the production of fresh delivery squads working on new trans formative propositions, which will include recruitment, organisation, and establishment of working practices. You will be working closely with Solution Architects and Domain Experts to assure the technologies, tool sets and frameworks are used across the teams with the goal being to be as productive as possible. The successful candidate will put in place practices and procedures and select tool sets that enable end to end Agile product development and a DevOps model and manage relationships with, and delivery from, 3rd party consultancies that will positively impact the team with specialist expertise. And to develop plans where appropriate to allow such expertise. A key part of this role will be managing and taking control of the KPI for the team and its deliverable which will be agreed with key stakeholders.
