SQL Developer

SQL Developer | Contract | 3 months | Fully Remote | Outside IR35

My client, a leading global sportswear manufacturer requires a SQL Developer as they implement a merchandising planning solution for the Chinese market and will roll out similar functionalities for other markets.

The data pipelines are built with Microsoft SQL tools so they are searching for someone experienced in these technologies to do bug fixing and change requests to the already developed pipelines, but also to enhance and to build new things during the China rollout.

Role Responsibilities:

* Develop requested functions and features for the data pipeline

* Fix bugs in existing implementation

* Continuously work on improving functionality and drive automation

* Identify opportunities to increase usability and functionality by bringing the functionality to the next technical & tools level

* Participate in agile ceremonies

Required Skills:

▪ Strong experience in implementing Data Warehouse solutions and Data Modelling in Microsoft BI (MS SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services)

▪ Extensive experience is SQL Programming – T-SQL, Stored Procedures, functions, triggers, cursors etc

▪ . Experience in MS SQL server administration like DB tuning, partitioning, memory management, performance tuning etc.
