Tech Lead (Javascript)

Tech Lead (Senior Javascript Engineer) | 3 month initial contract | Inside IR35 | £750 per day

Locations: London, Birmingham, Bristol or Manchester

Occasional onsite visits are required (preferably weekly)

My client Digital team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust customer journeys. We are currently looking for an experienced, cooperative, and passionate Senior Software Engineer with a solid ability to design and execute products that power the my clients customer experiences. As a Tech Lead, you will play a key role in reimagining productivity by shipping transformative products that serve diverse aspects of the customer.

As a Senior member of the team you will have opportunities to mentor individuals and help driving choices. My client believe in a highly collaborative environment where decisions are made together and where failing is an opportunity to learn. As a Senior you help the other individuals to upskill and become Seniors themselves, and this will open ways towards your own development and aspire to be an effective Tech Lead.

Job Responsibilities

• Senior Expertise in Frontend, Backend or both to develop critical business journeys using JavaScript/TypeScript with React and Node
• Frontend Experience encompasses bringing to reality brilliant Designs using CSS, SASS, HTML, React using reusable frameworks
• Backend experience encompasses APIs mastery, creation & integration, design patterns, JSON manipulation, Data exchange and integration with systems using Node
• Help drive and mentor the team with collaboration in heart
• Passionate about quality, including but not limited to unit, integration, E2E Testing, A11y (I.e. Jest, React testing library, Cypress)
• Work closely and cooperatively with the team and the Engineering Manager to build great Software
• Build, measure, and support the Software you create and maintain

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in building software products
