Tech Lead- React.JS/Node.JS

Tech Lead -London- Contract- £500-600.00 per day

Our client is a fast scaling start-up who recently raised series B, they are building out exciting new products and services to the market which offer a first class concierge service for travellers. As a Tech Lead you will have the opportunity to build all of there consumer facing products and world class customer experience, you will get to work with some of the best software engineers in the industry deploying cutting edge technologies and the best software engineering practices. As a React developer you will work in an environment using BDD, CI, TDD, QA, JS, Docker, Node, Tape, React.js, Reactnative, Typescript, Rxjs, Ansible, SCSS, Webpack, Babel and more.

The role:

• Working on building a cutting edge using React/Redux to help customer understand how their services enable them to profit money
• World class booking platform where you can utilise a number of services using back end microservice architecture and APIs, connecting you with many different parties
• Top of the charts mobile apps to enable all of their customers can utilise the service with the latest cutting edge technology
• Various different tools for all of their services, sites, which translates different data to be used by their team of experts providing accurate data to their customers
• Algorithms to automatically book various appointments smartly and effectively to make the most of their service enabling it to be consumer friendly.
• Backend systems to manage all of their services using Node.JS for bookings

What are they looking for?

We’re looking for a nifty, knowledgeable coding extraordinaire to help us develop the platforms and tools needed to conquer the rest of the world.

• 5+ years’ commercial experience in both React.JS and Node.JS
• You are able to provide the best technical solution which positive impacts the business enhance their product development
• You have worked on consumer facing products with a big emphasis on fast paced delivery creating a true value of production
• You have the ability to design world class solutions with a thorough understanding of clear objectives
• You can work in a cross functional team using solid design patters and effectively communicate this with various stakeholders
• You will have lead various technical planning from conception through to full product lifecycle, from estimating, developing, testing, managing different project, architect, delivery

Skills and the role:

• To be the key advocate of agile/lean methodologies for continuous delivery and fast improvement
• Proficient in react.js / Redux / webpack / HTML5 / CSS3 / SASS
• Distributed version control systems such as Git or Mercurial, and loved them
• A strong focus on continuous integration and delivery
• Worked in an environment with a big emphasis on TDD, BDD and Unit Testing
• Building high-performance and scalable applications
• Thorough understanding of design and implementation of RESTful web services
