My client is looking for a Tech lead that has come from a fullstack Ruby on Rails development background. As well as being a technology expert, as the technical lead you will be an exceptional role model, promoting best practices, learning and development as well as introducing a culture of sharing and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Delivery – Full end-to-end delivery of new features with involvement throughout the entire development life-cycle, from inception to deployment
• Technical Innovation – Engage with the wider development community and bring new technologies into the business that can help promote innovation and support the company vision

Requirements:

• A seasoned full stack developer, developing web applications
• experience leading a team in an agile environment
• Solid commercial experience in Ruby on Rails
• Good understanding of databases, relational (MySQL) and NoSQL
• Front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery)
• Front-end framework experience (REACT, Vue.js)
• Familiar with typical cloud hosting stack – AWS (including EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, etc.), and of course the basics of Linux, Apache, MySQL
