My client is looking for a QA Automation engineer to manage and run test activities to ensure the correct delivery of platform updates.

Responsibilities – QA, Automation, API, Java, Selenium, Jenkins

  • Work across multiple platform projects including device, online, cloud and Mobile
  • Planning and creation of detailed test plans, allowing effective evaluation and sign off of multiple products across multiple formats – devices, platforms and applications.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and schedules that are constantly updated throughout the development process
  • Quality and functionality evaluation of pre-release, public beta release
  • Responsible for quality in the detail of bug descriptions of any defects or design issues found during testing.
  • Devise and execute solutions for any development related QA needs or problems, reproducing issues, delivering new builds and testing changes in a rapidly iterative environment.
  • Identify and communicate issues pertaining to schedule, raising concern with Director of development when necessary.
  • Organise and write a complete documentation for the service
  • Experience defining and managing security testing is important.
  • Passionate about quality and the importance of QA within the development process.
  • Practical experience in setting up automated test environments and writing the scripts that they use.

Skills – QA, Automation, API, Java, Selenium, Jenkins

  • Experience in continuous integration or continuous delivery environments.
  • Experience in testing cloud based infrastructure using tools like Jmeter.
  • Follow Agile/Scrum approach to Automation/Utility design, develop and unit Testing
  • Design and develop BDD based automation framework for micro services which is implemented using feature files written in Cucumber and implementation of step definitions in java
  • Experience in configuring Cucumber Report Plugin and Performance Plugin to Jenkins to generate HTML test reports
  • Architect, maintaining, designing and developing Automation Framework customised for testing web based UI applications, SOAP based Web-services and REST based web services ( Micro-services)
  • Specialised in designing behaviour driven test solutions for micro services by following Domain driven design, continuous delivery, continuous integration Micro-services
  • Automated tools and frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium web Driver, Selenium IDE, SOAP UI.
  • Expertise in writing technical documentation and performing Analysis, black box testing, functionality testing, integration testing, System testing, regression testing User acceptance testing (UAT) and End -to End Testing
  • Organise and write a complete documentation for the service
