Network Maintenance Lead

• Our Client is looking for a number of experienced Network Maintenance Lead Engineers with Supervisory/ Team Leader experience to cover a few regions around the UK. The positions that we are especially looking for experienced people for are: (you can be located either in or around the areas below) We are looking for experienced people in Glasgow, Yorkshire, The North West, The Midlands and London. Role and Responsibilities: Practical hands on experience working in the telecoms industry Basic knowledge of IP A clean UK driving license An understanding of cable standards (Cat5e and fibre cabling) Should be a good team player and quick learner Strong communications skills Should be available during out of hours and on weekends to resolve network / customer incidents or undertake planned network maintenance Available to travel across the UK to assist in projects / task when desired. Experience of working in BT Exchanges and Data Centres Experience of interacting with customer Strong problem solving skills Be flexible and can do attitude Knowledge of Fibre Splicing and fault finding on fibre, OTDR Testing experience DWDM/Transmission experience Experience working with UPS power supplies Installation and testing of point-to-point equipment Ability to configure network switches These positions are to work for an up and coming ISP that are UK based and actively looking to increase their work force.
