Role Summary – QA Analyst – £40,000 – Bonus – Benefits – London – digital products: iOS, Android, Manual Testing, BDD

We’re looking for passionate and detail-oriented test analysts to help prepare and improve our digital products across a range of device types, including responsive web, mobile, tablet and TV screens. You will work closely with the other test analysts, developers and project managers, with manual testing being your focus, but working on a project to integrate automated testing for our platforms later in the year. You will also be a key contact of the customer support team, helping them with technical queries and identifying, replicating and prioritising any user-reported issues for the development team to work on.

Responsibilities, Skills and Experience

• Undertake manual testing across all digital products: iOS, Android, website and TV apps, keeping a good record of results, collating and reporting on issues in a clear manner
• With an eye for detail, undertake regression testing across all devices
• Raise critical issues with a sense of urgency, following processes set out
• Play a key part in developing the team’s automated testing capabilities, using Gherkin and Selenium
• Adopt BDD techniques as part of a standard project workflow
• Break down larger stories and write well defined acceptance criteria
• Define, write and maintain test plans
• Participate in daily stand-ups together with the team to establish daily tasks and priorities
• Participate in sprint retrospectives to establish positives and negatives and to constantly strive to improve processes
• Keep the other team members in regular touch with progress and issues
• Raise bugs with a sense of urgency, as necessary, following through with final testing and go live
• Be familiar with Charles, Wireshark and Android Device Monitor for capturing logs and analysing output
• Work with customer support to test issues reported by users, review app feedback and raise any bugs in a timely manner
• Manage and action GDPR requests in a timely manner, as required
