Senior Testing Coach (Freelance Contractor) – Banking Client – Brussels

Duration: 1 year initial contract

Rate: Flexible

Hybrid Working: 3 days onsite per month, the rest can be done remotely.

Your main tasks

• Onboarding of newcomers in the Testing team of the Asset Servicing, Tax and Reference Data department within organisation. This will include preparing training material, organising onboarding sessions and providing on the job coaching and support.
• This onboarding will cover testing methodology, processes and quality controls, the different roles and responsibilities.
• Provide insight in different testing techniques, testing optimisation and automation.
• The training should not only cover the functional aspects of testing but also providing a solid understanding of the different testing environments, their purposes and specificities.
• You will also provide on the job support to colleagues in the Testing team with their specific assignments.

You have

• At least 10 years’ experience working with Testing in various areas.
• Previous experience as “Head of Testing” / Testing Coach
• Strong affinity with testing methodology, techniques, environments and technologies (ie. Mainframe, Windows, Unix).
• Knowledge of at least one functional domain (preferably Asset Servicing, Tax and Reference Data).
• Experience on large strategic programmes.
• Proven experience with training and coaching.

• High level of autonomy and drive.
• Fluent in English (both written and oral), French and/or Dutch will be a plus.
