Salt are currently working with a Global client looking to bring on board an experienced IT Test Manager for an initial 6 month period.

The ideal Candidate will have:

• ISEB/ISTQB Certification or similar testing experience
• At least 14 years practical testing experience of 12 which at least should be in a Test Management role
• Proven Test management experience in a consulting environment
• Proven experience of SDLC’s particularly Agile, Iterative and V-Model and should show an ability to work within a dynamic and challenging environment
• Preference for a candidate who is largely technology agnostic and has enthusiasm for adapting to innovative technologies
• Experience of writing Test Strategies and Plans including test effort and resource requirements.
• Experience of creating and maintaining both Project and Programme Risk and Issue logs
• Experience managing near-shore and offshore resources to deliver high quality service
• Willingness to still be hands-on in the test process in creating/executing test cases, raising defects and maintaining defect logs
• Multiple project experiences in both functional and non-functional testing
• Excellent Client management, liaison and strong negotiation experience
• Experience of leading testing tools both commercial and opensource tooling.
