Middle East Regional Lead

A global education technology software company is hiring a Regional Head to sell their innovative online learning platform to educational institutions across GCC.

The role will start as an individual contributor and be responsible for leading the sales team and whole Middle East operation from the front via a remote working model.

Day to day of the job:

• Drive and execute the sales plan and overall market plan for GCC
• Use existing book of contacts within the education sector to sell the solution
• Identify new business opportunities via direct clients and channel partners
• Build sales pipeline and close deals, manage stakeholders and expand the team

Responsibilities:

• Build a world-class sales team, with a fantastic team culture.
• Implement sales best practices in the region, and contribute to the development of best practices globally.
• Build the sales pipeline and close sales.
• Represent Matific externally across all Middle East markets.
• Identify, recruit, onboard and leverage a Partner Ecosystem
• Exceed sales quota.

Requirements for the role:

• 4+ years experience in a B2B sales environment
• 2+ years of experience managing a team
• Experience selling to educational businesses in GCC and a solid book of contacts
• Experience presenting internally and externally to
• Fluent in English and ideally Arabic.
• High energy and extroverted personality with high emotional intelligence.
