Oracle DBA

My client is a privately owned holding company headquartered in Dubai, UAE.

Seeking an Oracle DBA with PL/SQL with circa 5+ years experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, tune, execute, and manage Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages and database triggers
• Support the data architecture with some data integration
• Monitoring database performance and tuning SQL queries and identifying and resolving scalability issues
• Developing and amending stored procedures and PL/SQL code to implement business logic
• Provide subject matter expertise and level 3 support to ensure the smooth running of systems and quick recovery from outages/downtime
• Providing L2 and L3 support on Oracle Databases Platform -Design and Create new solution for implementation within entire Oracle infrastructure (automatization, scripting, tools)
• Prepare new Oracle platform version rollouts (including testing and documentation)
• Integrate standard Oracle platform within solution used in wider IT Infra environment (OS, storage, virtualization, security)
• Ensure required documentation is in-place and up to date for all data management solutions
• Hands on experience in all DBA activities Oracle, Mysql and sql server
• Expdp/impdp Schema refreshes
• RMAN backup and restore
• Performance Tuning & Capacity Monitoring
• Data Security, Backup & Recovery
• Data Guard Standby/Failover Administration
• Oracle RAC & ASM Administration/Installation
• Oracle Forms and Reports Development
• Database-Backed Web Solutions
• SQL Tuning in an Oracle Environment
• Experience in writing SQL Oracle queries/application queries.
