Lead Digital Editor

An exciting new position has opened up for an experienced Editor or Content Lead to join an international consumer electronics brand as they expand their digital marketing hub!

As part of their Global Marketing dream team, you will have the opportunity to lead an engaging lifestyle content platform and guide the creative profile of the brand.

You will bring in fresh ideas and collaborate on core projects and campaigns, balancing your time between strategic planning, coordination, production, editing and writing.

Your scope:

* Produce original compelling content and branded communications, including articles, copy for social media, web, email, campaign pages

* Work with creative vendors across the globe, coordinating with writers and contributors as well as the Global digital marketing and design teams

* Take design concepts from idea to consumer, be open to think big and have passion to take your idea through production and execution

* Edit and proof-read all content – ensure it is polished, presentable and relatable with design consistency across all customer touch points

* Ensure all online visual communications (advertising, promotion, product, social) meet global brand standards

* Track content success, ie site growth, social growth, subscription growth and develop the media kit with business strategies to monetise the platform as a self-sustainable publication

What we’re looking for:

* Related experience as a Digital Editor or Content Manager with an online publication, digital business and/or agency

* Superb writing and grammar skills paired with a creative eye – able to identify the right visuals to bring each narrative to life

* Strong understanding of digital platforms and metrics

* Keen business sense – able to think creatively and strategically of ways to optimise/monetise the platform
