You will be responsible for setting and implementing the strategic direction for the brand, work with various teams to maintain consistent growth. Your scope of work would also include making decisions to optimise revenue, securing new market opportunities, determining optimal pricing to balance profit with customer satisfaction and directing all marketing operations.
As a seasoned professional with a proven track record in developing and achieving revenue and KPI targets, you will work hand in hand with the Managing Director to propel the business forward, overseeing brand and product development, developing strategic partnerships, and creating impactful marketing strategies for the brand globally.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Lead the Commercial Team in the Sales and Marketing functions – inspiring and guiding the teams, driving the overall calendar in line with D2C/B2B launches and seasonal timelines
Work closely with Managing Director to devise growth strategies, e.g. new markets, new lines of business, new concepts and merchandise ideas, pop-ups, collaborations, that increase revenue and brand awareness
Plan and implement brand growth functions, focusing on sales and partnership strategies
Reviewing weekly, quarterly and yearly reports with a firm handle on optimising sales performance across D2C/B2B channels – eg collaborations, promotions, bestsellers, lifecycle of product etc
Lead the team to develop global marketing strategies, inclusive of concepts, campaigns, materials and execution across multiple platforms
Drive D2C and B2B marketing management – shaping consistent story telling/visuals/brand voice across all communication channels, including social media platforms
Establish credibility throughout the company and management as an effective leader and problem-solver to business challenges.
The following skills will ensure you excel in this role –
7-10 years of working experience in retail/ecommerce within marketing & sales or similar roles is required for this position
Visionary and forward-looking with proven execution ability to develop and deploy initiatives that deliver the required business results
Strong commercial acumen, particularly in brand and product positioning across channels – able to translate learnings and numerical findings into growth opportunities
Strong budgeting skills with an ability to influence the P&L performance of the business
Knowledge of retail and wholesale distribution, logistics and sales, a plus
Digitally savvy, strong networking and negotiation skills, with exceptional language proficiency
Excellent communication and influencing skills. Able to impact and influence all key stakeholders
