Social Media Lead (Regional)

A global financial solutions business is looking for a Social Media leader to drive its digital and brand strategy across the region.

With a team of specialists under your care, you will straddle between strategic planning and leadership with a focus on increasing social media engagement and new client acquisition; ideal for someone with regional perspective, good business acumen and a thorough understanding of social media channels, tools and metrics.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement social media campaign and acquisition strategies to grow the brand’s following and ultimately increase the number of first time users
• Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns
• Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results
• Preparation of KPIs for the team, mentor and develop existing and new team members
• Identify new opportunities for the brand’s Social Media strategy and manage brand positioning across all social media channels globally

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive experience in building and executing measurable social media strategies, ideally within a fintech business and/or digital agency
• Solid understanding of all social media platforms and tools, insights gathering and performance measurement
• Leadership experience – able to grow and mentor a team, implement clear KPIs, track and optimise team performance
• Proactiveness in expanding his/her knowledge of social media channels to remain current and guide the team on industry developments
