Social Media Manager

Our client is an award-winning creative agency recognised for their digital marketing expertise, strategic thought process and core capabilities in brand planning. We have a new opening for a Social Media Manager to collaborate with an ambitious team of specialists and creatives as they deliver on engaging strategies and campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity to drive innovation, take lead on key projects and grow your social media portfolio.

Your role:

• Reporting to the Head of Social, you will get to play an active role in client management as the lead consultant
• Create social media strategies that collaborate with marketing, PR and advertising campaigns
• Create engaging and original content, optimised for each platform (eg. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube) and its intended audience
• Stay current with social media trends and tools; research top influencers and competitors, read blogs or attend events for insights
• Analyse and report on social media performance on a monthly basis to identify new opportunities or areas for improvement
• Work with the creative team to produce engaging and professional visuals and solid brand messages that reflect the client’s brand

What you’ll need:

• Experience as a Social Media Manager, ideally in a creative or digital agency
• Content creation experience across multiple platforms
• Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of social media analytics software (Hootsuite, Raven Tools, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.)
• Ideally working knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
• Strong understanding of user-generated content management, content marketing and reputation management will be desirable
