Business Development Representative

My client, a leading cloud-based SaaS platform that facilitates e-commerce and order management solutions for the F&B industry is looking to hire a Business Development Representative to join their ever-growing sales team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales opportunities, be part of their high-growth journey and make a meaningful impact in the F&B scene.

Day to day as a BDR:

• Generating new business opportunities to fuel your pipeline via various channels, be it cold-calling, email or visiting targeted restaurants.
• Discover F&B merchants’ potential, identify their challenges and consult them on how you can add value to their business with our range of online & dine-in products.
• Work closely with the Onboarding team in coordinating with merchants to get the merchants to go live within the expected timeline.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clientele in the F&B industry.
• Gather merchant feedback, monitor competitor activities and provide recommendations for improvements to product development team.

Successful candidate should have:

• Sales experience with a proven track record of consistent target achievement. Experience in F&B/F&B eCommerce industry will be advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbally, with the ability to negotiate and convince.
• Solid persuasion and negotiation kill, with a sound business acumen.
• Possess a great sense of ownership and take pride in your work.
